TORONTO, Ontario (Reuters) -- Internet users can give Web sites a thumbs up or thumbs down in less than the blink of an eye, according to a study by Canadian researchers. In just a brief one-twentieth of a second -- less than half the time it takes to blink -- people make aesthetic judgments that influence the rest of their experience with an Internet site. The study was published in the latest issue of the Behaviour and Information Technology journal. The author said the findings had powerful implications for the field of Web site design.

NewHome Guide Super Plasma Presentation

Going Interactive was honored to work the NewHome Guide staff in producing a 8 minute overview widescreen video for use at their tradeshows, on DVD, and online. The piece involved a green screen shoot of 4 different speakers. As well as full motion graphics design. A sample of the piece can be seen here.

The Gardener's Confidence

We recently uploaded the beautiful The Gardener's Confidence Collection site. It's a great use of ASP, HTML, CSS, and Flash. It is totally client accessable so they can make back-end edits as needed (ie - press, articles, etc.) and it's customizable too. GI will help GCC bring on the new collection of plant series as they become available in 2006. It was a pleasure working with the McCorkle staff. Visit the new site here.
